Handouts

Here is a collection of handouts covering each stage of the teaching process, from preparing your students to write to helping them proofread.

Tips for maximizing the usefullness of handouts:

  • First, tailor a handout as much as possible to your particular class.
  • Second, go over the handout with your class. Explain it in more detail and let them ask questions.
  • Third, immediately have your students practice the handout's lesson. They can apply the lesson to their own writing or to a sample you provide.
